From the apartment, there is proximity to a lot, including 3 golf courses only 10 minutes drive from the address. Tennis and paddle tennis are available at the sports arena Polideportivo just a stone's throw from the apartment. The cabin track is at about 15 minutes walking distance, in clear weather the view of the entire sun coast. The beach is about 1200 meters straight below. On the way to the beach, you pass the La Paloma park. Via the boardwalk and east you can walk by the sea almost into Malaga. Around the apartment are many lovely places on the small streets to discover, such as fish, meat and bread shops as well as many small cozy “watering holes” and restaurants. Bakery and vegetable shops are open every day of the week, often until late in the evening. Trains run between Fuengirola and Malaga. Malaga city center takes about 20 minutes. Fuengirola is located about 15 minutes west of Benalmadena, a pleasant town with a lovely promenade and many “water holes”. You can also take the ferry that runs between Benalmadena and Fuengirola.
Famous places like Marbella and Puerto Banus are by car 30 minutes or about 1 hour away by bus.
Gibraltar is located about 2 hours west of Benalmadena. Mijas Pueblo is about 20 min, between Benalmadena and Fuengirola. A cozy little town with small alleys with white charming houses. Benalmadena Pueblo, with small cozy alleys, along with squares and restaurants, beautiful views from the church.
Granada is about 1.5 hours north, only in Al Hamra you can walk for several hours. By car to ski in Sierra Nevada 2 hours.
